Tour Pey-Berland
The Pey-Berland tower is the bell tower of the cathedral of Saint-André. This Flamboyant Gothic structure built between 1440 and 1446 took its name from the prelate who commissioned it, Archbishop Pey-Berland. The tower's originality lies in the fact that it was built away from the cathedral. It was thus possible to install large bells whose vibrations would have threatened the church’s structure.
